Nion McEvoy Jr (born 1988, San Francisco) is an artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. His subjects primarily center around representation of internal worlds, and also external experience, often creating dreamlike works, interested in the intersection of the real and the surreal. He works primarily in photography, drawing, painting, and tattoo, as well as film, sound, sculpture and printmaking. He holds a BA in Human Rights from Bard College and BFA from CalArts.
