“ ‘Period Rush’ is a term I just read in the book Fantasyland by Kurt Andersen that describes the feeling that re-enactors get during reenactment events. I think I’m feeling a “period rush” right now. Some kind of rush. I started making some hybrid print paintings on paper during the quarantine in the last month or two. Ass holes and bullet holes.” –Fritz Chesnut
